The most played Swan Lake Ballet in the world, Swan Lake is back in 2020 for a major tour in France and Europe. Like previous years, a new Russian company will present this timeless classic masterpiece. This ballet immerses us in the crazy love story of Prince Siegfried and Princess Odette. The latter is unfortunately trapped in the famous fate of the magician Rothbart: she transforms into a swan during the day and becomes a woman at night again. Only the promise of eternal love can free her from this bewitchment. Siegfried then promised Odette to marry him at the ball in his honour. Will they escape the deceit of Rothbart and his daughter Odile? Will the Prince be able to save his bride? Created in 1875 by the Russian composer Piotr Tchaikovsky, it was in 1895 with the revival of the choreographer Marius Petipa that Swan Lake became the greatest classical success of all time. Between Pas de deux, romantic duets and Dance of the Little Swans, the dancers, accompanied by the orchestra, will perform this masterful work in style. Symbol of romantic ballet, Swan Lake captivates and continues to enchant generations of spectators.
